Does anybody know why Richie did Bobby Lupo?

Richie killed Bobby and Richie's girlfriend because he found out that they were having an affair. Bobby's wife found the picture of them together and sent it to Richie so he would stop the fooling around. Unfortunately for her, he also stopped both of them from breathing. She had not planned on Richie's killing Bobby.

lol to the line above me...I graduated high school in '91 just before that movie was released that summer and I remembered a guy named Richie Kopp who happened to be in my college acting class that fall which allowed me to mouth off that line, only one guy in class laughed though when I said it before class began.
