Constant underestimation of Richie Madano...
The...."Godfather" says- That punk couldn´t be a gangster if he owned New York City."
And Gino...Felino who had an uncle called Pino(Man,that never gets old,too good) call him a"punk, wannabe wiseguy" and other things to that effect.
Though these things may be true and Forsythes last scene was pretty humble to do,let himself be thrown around like an overweight ragdoll,no one accepting how dangerous he is is part of the films charm to me. That and that despite all the drugs, this guy know he is going out one way or the other, which his first scene implies....but he did settle his scores. Even clipping made guys.
I find a resemblance to The Joker in his doomed, killing anyone who looks at him funny, live, die, what´s the difference-attitude. Though not as memorable...but who is?
Richie Madano was a force to be reckoned with is the point. One wonders if he ever tried to get made...Hell hath no fury as a scorn psychopath.
