does anyone agree that leslie has to be one the best and funniest guys on TV.every film hes in is an absolute scream.huge fan of police squad,naked gun,airplane,even the creepshow appearance was funny with neilsen.Oh and lets not forget scary movie 3 and 4.
shareYes, Leslie Nielsen is like the Lawrence Olivier of film spoofs. Even in a film like Scary Movie 4, which was dumb and gross, his performance always makes me laugh. Even in Wrongfully Accused, a tired spoof of The Fugitive, which was funny itself so that might've been the problem, it was a delight to see Nielsen doing different spoofs like Braveheart. Creepshow is a different performance by Nielsen, like in the awful Soul Man as the racist dad, or in Nuts as the murdered client. Remember Nielsen had a long dramatic career before Airplane!, etc. Him and Lloyd Bridges were perfect for these spoofs. Too bad they didn't work together in any of those films-it would've been such a treat!
