It wasn't gross. And by the way, check out the whole movie cause it is funny, especially when that jerk Robert Goulet's character gets killed (I won't give away how it happens but it is good). Now, as to Hector Savage, he goes to Jane's house to kill her and fortunately, Frank had not left yet so he was able to catch him in the act. Savage tries to escape but he trips over Jane's pet pig in the hall and is knocked out. Frank picks him up and that wakes Savage who tries to kill him with a knife but Frank takes a hose that is on the wall, plugs it into Savage's mouth and turns on the water. Savage is filling up on the water, getting fatter and fatter, and Frank decides to turn it off, but breaks the wheel so he knocks on Jane's door trying to get back inside her apartment. She does and we then hear Savage bursting outside to death. Jane asks what that was and Frank says, "It's nothing. But if I were you I wouldn't leave until they've had a chance to shampoo the carpets." There is also a moment where a neighbor, who was in the shower at the time, comes out saying, "Hey, what the hell happened to the water pressure?" and seeing what's going on he steps back inside.
