It's rating jumped

It's rating improved from 6.3 to 6.4. Let's try to get it a little higher. It deserves it.

I voted 8, which is what I think it deserves. It's not a perfect movie, but it's entertaining and hilarious. I, for one, am not going to vote higher just to get the rating up.

I don't believe in pumping up votes by giving tens and downgrading votes by giving ones, just vote normally and everything will even itself out. I agree though, it should be a couple of marks higher (6.6 - 7.0 I think)

It's now at 6.6, so it's rising a bit. I gave it a 7, which is pretty high for me.

I think the audience ratings for older films like this are a more accurate representation of IMDb members, as opposed to newer films where people vote 1 or 10 en masse for reasons unrelated to the quality of the film (if they even saw it).

I agree. I think this will slowly but steadily increase in future years, as new audiences are introduced to the zaniness of the Police Squad. It's up at 6.8 now and I give it an 8/10.

This is true. Audiences are starved for smart parodies like this, and I suspect the rating will continue to grow gradually because of the lack of current alternatives. I hope to watch the whole series again someday, and I may well upgrade.
