Favorite parts?

What are your favorite parts of the movie?

Mine are when Vada and Thomas J are riding around town on their bikes, and when they're playing out on the porch, and when they run away, and when they interrupt the bingo game which causes the riot, and when Vada slams into Shelley on the bumper cars, and when Harry punches that guy at the 4th of July barbecue and threatens to bury him in the front yard. I also kind of like it when she's wearing the makeup and is strutting around and Thomas J asks 'your lip bleeding?'

Besides the ones you mentioned, I thought it was a great scene when Vada and Thomas J became blood brothers. Mixing blood is not encouraging but the chemistry made it a good moment. Plus the composing went well with it. Another scene that I liked was the last tree scene(even though it was sad). Again, it just felt so real with very good composing that set the mood of the scene so well. Not to mention the shot from the back of Vada at the start of the scene was like a work of art with the sunset. Then there was the scene where the kids jump in the water which I thought made a good youth moment. The whole movie is great so I don't really have a favorite scene. I just pointed out more scenes that I thought deserved to be mentioned.

Mine are:

When Harry and Shelly first meet and Harry is mesmerized(thus creating the Trading Places reunion between Dan and Jamie Lee)
When Harry and Phil are talking and Gramoo starts singing, ignoring her(that was funny)
When Harry and Shelly are at Bingo and almost kiss and Vada screams Bingo and the old guys start arguing(that was so funny)
When Harry and Shelly are in her RV dancing and start kissing(that was so romantic, this is my favorite part)
When Harry and Vada are at the store and Vada hits Harry with the cart(that was so funny)
When Shelly's ex-husband tries to take her RV away and Harry hits him and Phil and Vada are in shock
When Harry and Shelly are kissing while Vada is watching as Gramoo comes out
When Harry and Shelly are talking about Vada before the funeral
When Harry goes up to Vada's room and talk about her mother(that was so sweet)

The bike riding took me back to when me and my friend Jimmy would ride our bikes in 1972.
