The mean kids ** (Warning: Spoilers)**
It was nice to see Judy coming to Vada's house after Thomas J died to offer her sympathy, and becoming her friend.
I love this film and think it is fantastic in so many ways. But one thing that niggles at me is, I wonder how the kids shown earlier on in the film (the boys who laughed at Thomas and the 2 girls who made fun of Vada) would have reacted after Thomas died. I hope they felt guilty for being unkind, even if they didn't end up being really pally with Vada. Otherwise they would be heartless brats, not just immature children who pick on other children who are "different".
