My sister and I just finished watching this for probably the 12th time. We just noticed that when Maureen and Court are having the post coital discussion, Maureen is wearing an engagement ring.
Were they engaged? Is that why Maureen tells Dani she has to tell her something? I cannot believe we have not noticed this before.
Was this obvious to everyone else?
Actually Maureen wore that ring the entire movie. I think she just wanted to tell Dani that her and Court fell in love and that she was sorry.

I was confused about the ring, too. I thought maybe she was engaged to the first guy, but we wore it even after they broke up and until the end of he movie.
