I live in St. Joseph, Mo, very close to all of this and had never heard about this before yesterday when it was in the paper about the 25th Anniversary about the book??? I've seen every where that there's a tv movie, but where can I purchase it????
shareI found dvd on ebay, though it was ripped from a vhs copyit was still good quality. The movie was made for tv but it should be made into a real movie the story is what hollywood is made for. Also I have not seen it yet or can even find it there is also a movie call without mercy that is also about Mcelroy and skidmore. Good luck hope this helps you it's definatly worth seeking out.

Watched it on FX Movies yesterday. Last time I saw it was when it first aired and it's just as great now as it was then. They're pretty good at repeating their movies so I'm sure it'll be on again.
