anyone else feel KM was glorified in the film? *spoilers*
I thought the film was well done but felt the whole "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees" thing was overdone and unmerited (partly based on what family from the area have shared with me). I thought this was a pretty sold film, though, otherwise. I spent a good deal of my youth visiting family in rural Missouri and this felt right outside the way folks talked. p.s. - I think we're treated to at least a pair of moments involving the KM character talking about his terms for checking out of this world and then he lights up a cigarette before the firing squad at the end.
