Paula Abdul was a choreogrpher as far as I can remember, so that would explain learning moves/maneuvers from her.
I think that is right, it's what I assumed anyway.
Oh, right - yeah, that's one explanation. I always assumed it had deeper, possibly more derogatory connotations.
