6.7???

Amazing- few people know about this incredible movie. It's worth watching repeatedly for the rest of your life.

I completely agree. I have seen it many times over the past 10 years... truly incredible. It touched me so much I ended up going to the Grand Canyon twice!

I'd have to agree too. I'm a pretty tough reviewer. It's not very often that I give a movie on ImDb a rating higher than the consensus. This is one. One way I judge movies over time is how often I reference something from a movie. On that basis alone it does well in my estimation.

I agree as well. The cast is strong, acting, plot, writing. Not sure why more people didn't enjoy this film. I'm trying to figure it out.

Funny, I just watched Crash for the first time, and thought it was awful. It was almost a parody of itself, it was so over the top that it came across as being silly to me.

Grand Canyon deals with many of the same subjects, but it does it in such a realiztic way.

I live in Los Angeles, and when I watch Grand Canyon, that's the LA I know and recognize. Really an amazing feat.

Yeah, I had to watch this movie in college for a film class. Man, it was so deep. Became a big fan of Kevin Kline (had to watch "A Fish Called Wanda" also) and I was suprised to see Steve Martin in this too. What got me was that this movie predated Rodney King and the LA riots that occured about a year after this movie was released. So, Kasdan knew that something was gonna explode in L.A.
It's funny how people compared Crash to Magnolia. But I thought the same issues in Crash were in Grand Canyon 10 yrs ago. Both good movies imo though.
