Homage to Hitchcock's 'Notorious'?

Just after Roberto leaves for summer camp, there is a crane shot of Mary McDonnell in the parking lot. As she walks back to her car, the camera smoothly swoops down and goes into a close-up of her hand holding the car key just as she inserts it into the car door.

It struck me that this may well be a conscious homage by Kasdan to the famous crane shot in Hitchcock's 'Notorious', where the camera similarly closes in on the key to the wine cellar, concealed in Ingrid Bergman's hand.

Has anyone else noticed this?
