It was a family favourite. The I read the book - and loved it. Then I watched the film again and still loved it. But wouldn't it be wonderful for they could film the book - probably need a three part series to do it justice but I'd certainly watch it.

I love the movie too, it never gets old especially the story about the ducks, I could hear that story anytime! I haven't read the book yet but I will one of these days.

One of the rare times I actually preferred the movie to the book!
It's just so well made.
