Yes, I saw that. I even referenced it in the original post. The real question is, why did the "dream sperm" run away from him in this film, when they hadn't in any of his previous film-ending deaths? Why suddenly in this film, did they decide to run off? There was no reason for it.
I really just think it's kind of weak anyway. The Demon Demons weren't mentioned in the first 5 films at all. They were suddenly invented in this film, just so they could escape Freddy's body when he died.
All it would've taken was one line of dialogue that explained that stabbing Freddy with his own glove would cause him to die, and the ending would've made a lot more sense.
Stabbing him, and saying; "Freddy's dead" in a smug voice was lame, and didn't really give any explanation as to why he couldn't come back to life like he had done many times before.
