I didn't think she did anything great. She was just the sterotypical angry girlfriend. Sort of reminds me of another Oscar years later where they gave Kim Bassinger an Oscar for L.A Confidential.

Not a strong year to be fair.
Personally I would have given it to Juliette Lewis for Cape Fear, but this would come second.
