Any thoughts on the red-haired woman?

You see her next to the judges in first part as well as at the station in second part. Each time looking quite concerned and somewhat "in the know"...

At first glance, she seems to dislike Weronika and Veronique for some reason. But I like to interpret her stare as meaning she knows that each girl is about to hurt herself in some way, yet she is unable and/or unwilling to say anything to them, to warn them. There seems to be a sub-theme in this movie: the women do not help each other very much.

I don't think there's any mystery to the women, there isn't meant to be. She like us is confronted with the mystery(as is Weronika and Veronique).

The women was simply one of the judges, and she happened to be one that didn't vote for her(hence the look) and the second time we see her she is simply confounded by the fact that a dead women seems to be walking around Paris.

What confused me is that, the second time we see her (in Paris), she seems to move from the spot where she first sees Veronique to her place sitting outside a restaurant watching Veronique walk past too fast. How could she have gotten to her seat at that restaurant before Veronique got there? It's like there's...two of her.

I've learned that every rooster has his Spain, that it's located under his feathers.

When Véronique first sees her, she is inside the station. The red haired lady is waiting to order at the cafe.
Véronique then goes outside. She then re-enters what seems to be the main station hall and the red haired lady has presumably ordered, and then sat down in what is most likely the same cafe.
I wouldn't say it was TOO fast.

Although we can't be sure, I'd imagine its probable that the red haired lady had also tried out for the part that Weronika won the audition for.
Its probably worth remembering too that when she sees Véronique for the first time, it is most likely a significant amount of time after, perhaps even a few years.
Véronique had gone to Poland on a school trip, as a student, and later throughout the film is working as a teacher.

Upon seeing Véronique, the red-haired lady (on holiday in Paris maybe?) may have been shocked because she undoubtedly knew what had happened to Weronika, and couldn't believe she was seeing what seemed to be her alive in Paris.
