Good satire...

It seems that most of the comments are about this movie being about a possible afterlife. While that's true, I thought I'd post my idea of the subtext of this film to an open forum.

I see this movie as a satire about elitism, with the elite in the afterlife being those that are much smarter than us.

I agree.

This movie also emphasizes, in a humorous way, how fear can hold most people back in all areas of life. That we are here on this earth to take chances.

A very relevant saying comes to mind...

"A ship is safe in the harbor but that's not what it's built for."

"I'm a god. Not THE God, I don't think"
