damn i just need to buy it. i keep getting this urge to see it maybe once a year or so. and when i mention it to people, it would be handy to just pop in or lend out. then i wouldn't be the only person i know who's seen it.
anyhow, just a great movie all around. i especially loved the "misjudgements" that comes off like a outtake reel of his life.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I also have to watch it every once-in-a-while, and I'm always recommending it to people...It's just a benign, feel-good movie which actually has some real truth in it ("Fear is like a giant fog...but you lift it, and buddy, you're in for the ride of your life!!"). I love it, and I love Albert Brooks and Meryl "Goddess" Streep. Albert's style of comedy is shrewd and subtle without being bitter and cynical...Such a joy to watch!
