Was love the greatest fear too be conquered?

I also love this movie and watch it every time it's on.

Daniel didn't have one complete episode in his life, as far as we're shown, of conquering his fears. Yet, at the end, when he goes after Julia to professes his love for her, the "judges" allow him to be with her and to move forward.

And if that's true, did Daniel not love his wife on Earth? Maybe he didn't. Remember what he said about marrying someone who's just good looking enough to turn you on? It didn't seem to me he loved her.

It wasn't the love that did it. It was his fighting to get off the bus and risking himself to get to her. If you remember his "lawyers" last words were "brave enough for you?"

He's taking the knife out of the Cheese!
Do you think he wants some cheese?

I'll have to watch that part again. But still, that was enough?

Certainly enough as Foster used his inability to go after Julia as a sign he wasn't ready. When he risked everything to get to her, he disproved her accusation.
