At the veyr end of the movie when cue is about to go to school, bill and grey say "give us a kiss" and she puts up her hands and says "please were in public." when she lifts up her hands you can see tissue wrapped around the ring... does it not fit? am i seeing things?
yes, there is a tissue, under the ring, although I saw this movie years ago I just caught it on HBO family again today, I just finished watching it & saw your post so I rewound (Thank god for TiVo & similar devices) I assumed the ring would be too big when he went & got it at the end of the movie, it looked like an adult size ring to me so I am not surprised, however I didn't see the beginning of the movie so I don't understand the meaning of the ring and I don't remember from when I saw it.
shareIts not tissue, its probably tape. I did the same thing when I was a kid and a ring didn't fit properly.
shareOr many people wrap yarn around their rings when they dont fit. That's more traditional... but in the movie it was tape :)
at the very beginning of the movie, (during the montage of bill raising curly sue from a baby, curly sue stringing little toys on a chain, tracing her hand, etc.) she puts on the ring, and you can see a piece of tape wrapped around it there as well.
