Walker (the boyfriend) sought to stay in Grey's bed but she locked the door so he saught alternate bedroom
Just so happens he picked Sue's spare bedroom.
no no, I meant the scene near the end, where Grey's asleep in bed and then she wakes up to find curly sue's hand on her shoulder. why would she go in grey's room?

I think the scene shows that at that point, Sue was starting to see Grey as the mother she never had and she wanted the secure feeling of sleeping beside her in bed like a lot of kids do when they are young. That's just my opinion.
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
