heres the thing. when phil is explaining about the situation that he was like loosing it. like his life was all messed up and all. what exactly does that meen? and plus he mentioned he cheated on his wife or something? how is that possible when that girl was like only 20 and he was working with his wife's father at the wife's father's store. that i really didn't get a point to. like what was that all about though?
He cheated on his wife with one of the cashiers at his step-fathers store and obviously, his wife found out when the cashier thought she was preggers. So I am guessing that they got/ were going to get a divorce. Also he was fired because his wifes father wouldn't keep a man on that cheated on his daughter. So basically he has lost his job and wife. And he is 40 and even said "Where you are, you are" saying quitting would be dumb at his age and starting over would be too hard. I am pretty sure it was to show that Phil needed this trip also and that Mitch really could re-start his life if it would make him happier.
If anyone else wants to add more, I have my thoughts but I am having trouble formulating them into words...
Hope this helped you!
R.I.P Steve Irwin, I didn't know you but I felt like you were my best friend...I'll miss you.
I felt really sorry for him.He had a bitch of a wife and a bully of a father-in-law who made him get out of bed at 4a.m.He had every right to two-time that shrewish bitch!
You missed the part at the ranch in which he had called the girl (Lisa Simpson) and she was NOT pregnant.
She confronted him because she THOUGHT that she was pregnant, and from that his wife, and concurrently his father-in-law found out. However it was a false alarm.
If the girl had never said anything, then he would not have been found out, but he lost everything on a false alarm.
Also wasn't he explaining some of this while holding the .45 they took from the trail hands? I always had the feeling for a minute there that Phil was thinking about turning the gun on himself.
