So, are they supposed to have slept together that nite?

After their slow dance, then the cop knocking on the front door is intercut with them bouncing around inside the tent and Jim's finishing getting dressed as he's running to the door to get rid of the cup -- are we supposed to think they were banging inside the tent there? I mean, the one shot where we can sort of see thru the sheer front of the tent, it looks like Jim's trying to maneuver his way out of a sleeping bag (and you can't even see her).

And yea I fully agree on the comments of Connelly these days... no doubt still very beautiful, but like so many other Hollywood women, has gotten way too thin, she could be even better.

The movie never reveals it, but I think it's a safe bet that they did. She was impressed by his answer when she asked him something to the effect of if he could do one thing with her, what would it be. Instead of 'sex', he said he wanted to finish a dance with her that was interrupted when they were younger. She replied, 'Oh, I thought you would want something else'.

As such, I think she gave it up to him in the tent because, in her mind, he really liked her.

I know one thing, if I were having sex with Jennifer Connelly, I sure as hell wouldn't stop to answer a knock at the front entrance.

In that scene, it's likely they were getting to it until they were interrupted. Regardless, that Jim was one extremely lucky bastard.

I don't think they did. The movie could have gone there, but notice how still completely awkward and terrified of Josie he is when they are hiding and she's laying right on top of him. He's still acting like a virgin, not like some guy who just had his first experience.
