I have just read the trivia and it states that Gary Busey was fired from this movie for his erratic behaviour. I wondered if someone had more information about this?

It's a shame because Sheen & Busey worked well together in The Execution of Pvt Slovik in 1974.

This was just some months after his brain damaging motorcycle accident.

I think the movie could have been better with Busey. That's not to say I hated Martin in the role.
