Ferris' crew shooting the breeze.....
.....after shooting Ricky. I find that the most intriguing scene in the film.
It shows how much violence had just become an every day thing to these guys, that within hours of committing a senseless murder, they could just sit round eating burgers and talking about their girlfriends or about the food they were eating as casually as if they'd spent the afternoon hiking or fishing.
I think it also showed that they were as human as the other crew, because the conversation wouldn't have sounded out of place coming from Doughboy and his friends.
And on another thread, some posters have pointed out it also suggests some naivety that they were sitting out in the open so soon after killing a guy they thought was a rival gang member.
This isn't really a question, I know. Just saying I do find that scene interesting
