'Local Motion' sticker on gang members' car. LOL
Local Motion is a surfing apparel company out of Hawaii. Would have never guessed those thugs to be surfers in addition to being gang members. haha

shareI didn't know that Local Motion company was a surfing company. I just found out that the company has been around since 1977.
I guess John Singleton (the director)or the technical people on the movie didn't scratch off or put some other sticker over the Local Motion one.
Maybe that red Hyundai that was a prop for the film, was owned by some surfer dudes. Or someone apart of the film thought the sticker was cool so they stuck it on the rear right window of the prop car.
One of the gang members had a Harley Davidson shirt on, probably not very popular in the hood. in the 80's and 90's you see a lot of hood movies where the actors in the hood wear or have surfer, skateboarding, rock and roll or other suburban white kids logo on their shirts, cars, inside rooms. In "The Hard Way" there is a bar in the hood that is playing rock music, in "Judgement Night" there are suburban white kids living in crime ridden housing projects. Probably has to do with the low budgets of these films and they have to re use wardrobe, cars, posters, etc from other movies, sets or the props/wardrobe departments just are not realistic in these movies.
