Eazy-E diss?

One of my favorite movies first off.

I'm just wondering because this movie was made after Ice Cube left NWA; a certain scene when Doughboy and his crew were just hanging on the street and that basehead walked by and tried to steal something, they caught him and beat him down. What I didn't realize is that he (the basehead) had on a "We Want Eazy-E" shirt on, just thought that was pretty funny and any thoughts on that being a back-handed diss to Eazy-E at the time......

I noticed it too and thought the same thing. Surely it's a bit of a jab as NWA's 100 Miles and Runnin' EP, where they took shots at Cube, came out in mid-late 1990, probably around or a bit before when this movie was filming. A subtle and sneaky jab for sure.

I just noticed that today.

Doubt it, since the movie is named after a Eazy E song (which Ice Cube wrote but Eazy performed).
