JUST REWATCHED BOGUS JOURNEY FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE LATE 90S PROBABLY..IVE REWATCHED THE ORIGINAL MANY TIMES,JUST WATCHED IT WITH MY DAUGHTER LAST MONTH..NOW AFTER A FRESH VIEW OF THE SEQUEL,I FEEL FOOLISH.WHILE IT IS NOT THE SAME LEVEL OF FILM AS THE ORIGINAL,THE SEQUEL IS A LOT OF FUN.AND SURPRISE FOR ME,A LOT OF MOMENTS HAD A NICE NOSTALGIA PUNCH TO THEM..ALSO STATION LOOKS LIKE ADAM DRIVER.
shareI think it's one of the best comedy sequels ever. It's not quite as good as the first, but what it manages to do is tell a completely new story while still following the same story beats of the original. They're not just retreading all the same material like is done today.

it's an uplifting film, with the music and likable characters, especially as it nears the finishing line and that is why i think some people think of it as better than part 1.
yes not as good as the first which is a refreshing classic. though they both catch you by surprise.
both film's plots are thin but have clever turns in story, pulling it all off almost barely, but amazingly, and have great, silly characters.
