I've always thought so too!
"Bogus Journey" was very innovative in alot of ways. It dared to do a few things outside the norm and have fun in the process. I really enjoyed the end credits featuring news headlines and highlights of B&T's careers. It was cool to witness the beginning of a peaceful utopia coming closer to fruition. Bill & Ted were more realized as characters for this film. You care for them more this time out. With a few more irons in the fire for our heroes to deal with, this is a fun light romp with some heart . . .
"Excellent Adventure" has a few nice moments, but comes up a little short for me. I liked seeing Napolian at Waterloo and the historical figures going to the shopping mall using the "buddy system". I just wanted a little "more" than what we got. Bill & Ted are rather 'generic' in this movie as nothing more than one-dimensional morons that talk surfer. The saving grace for the "Excellent Adventure" is a sense of innocence and cheerful goodwill. That carries weight with me . . .
Those are my takes!
