Didn't like it very much

seeing it for the first time in the theater. Was thrilled to go see the original movie as well but someone talked me into going and although I couldn't get over how dumb they are I did like it. The history figures they brought back with them made it cool. So when I watched the sequel 2 years later (In the same theater which is cool) I was actually excited but didn't like it very much due to how different it was compared to the first movie. I did like the grim reaper and the best of seven challenge and when they took over Ted's dads body as well as the other cop had me in stitches. It was more so the different tone it had. But as the years have gone on I now like it as much as the original. I relate it to The Legend of Zelda sequel Zelda II as well as the 2nd Castlevania game, Super Mario Bros 2 type of style where it's totally different from it's predecessor that you either love it or hate it. I didn't like it as much but now think it's great for it's different / uniqueness, funny how that happens to you over time. The same theater that I saw both these movies at is still there, now a dollar theater, I still go watch a few movies per year there. I can't go in there without thinking about both the Bill & Ted movies. Life sure is strange sometimes.
