Something funny just occurred to me. I’m reading the original 1740 Beauty and the Beast novel and chapter three happens to be called “Beauty’s Sacrifice” (or "Belle's Sacrifice," depending on if the translation leaves the French name) and it’s where she meets The Beast for the first time.

“This is my favorite part because you’ll see. Here’s where she meets Prince Charming, but she won’t discover that it’s him til chapter three.” - Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Well, except that according to the lyrics the protagonist met the prince before chapter three. It's in chapter three that she finds out who he is.

Yes, I know, I just thought it was an interesting coincidence or if any of the writers read the actual novel, a possible Easter egg.

Nice! When I played Belle on stage, I flipped open to chapter 3 unintentionally closing night at that part of the song and it made me happy inside...Easily amused haha.
