Filming locations for movie

IMDB says that the movie was filmed in New York; however, a Google search says it was filmed at Paramount on the backlot. What is true? I saw a picture that looked very similar to the street where the grandmother lived.

I don't know, but I came here looking to see about their home. It reminds me of the NY twin's home in the original Hayley Mills The Parent Trap.
