29th Street DVD
This has been one of my favorite movies since it came out. I've been waiting for it to come out on DVD ever since DVDs were born. Does anybody have any information about when it will be released on DVD?

shareAs a matter of fact, yes. From what I've heard, 29th Street is due out on DVD this March (March 2005). It should be available just about every DVDs are sold watch for it.
shareI actually saw it in the Walmart 2/ $11, so it must have been out for awhile.
shareWalmart in the UK?
Cause there is no region 1 release of this film yet.
I've been waiting years for this to come onto DVD.
March 8, 2005 is the official Region 1 DVD release of this film. It's gonna be a good day for me. Click the link below to see.

Finally.
This is available in the UK but it's a really poor release. Just the movie and trailer, no scene selection, extras etc. It lists in the end credits the production crew of a "making of" movie, but it's not on our release. I'm hoping the R1 release is better then i'll get myself a copy. I saw this along with another Danny Aleio (sp?) movie, "Dinner Rush" and was very impressed by both.
shareOn top of that, in the UK version the image has been cropped to 4:3, rather than left with its the original aspect ratio of 2.35:1 (not sure about this, that's what imdb says, it might rather be 1.85:1) and the transfer quality is horrible.
Does anybody know what is the aspect ratio of the R1 release and if the quality of the video transfer is better?
my friend said he ordered on the internet i haven't seen it in stores but just order it on the internet
