Wait a minute!

Please don't call me a dummy for this but I never knew that that was the real Frank Pesce playing Vito Pesce in the movie. He was great! So what exactly is the deal? I saw on IMDB that he began doing extra work in 1974. When did he win the lottery? What year? Must have been right around then. Did he decide to start acting after he struck it rich? And I wonder how long his real father lived after they won it? I hope he got to enjoy it for a while.

This movie is great. I've loved it since it first came out. And I can't believe I never knew that was the real Frank Pesce until right now. What a dummy I am.

I thought the boyfriend was great in the movie too. He hardly ever talks but he's there all the time just eating food and standing around. It's also pretty funny that they picked an Australian guy to play an Italian kid from Queens. But it worked out. Lapaglia was great. And what can you say about Danny Aiello? He's incredible in everything.

Awesome movie!

He's in the beginning of Midnight run too. When Dorfler has the guy handcuffed to the bed. That's him. He didn't win the lottery though. He was just a finalist. They did it different back then.
