Was anyone else frightened from the dream that Chuckie had in one episode?

I remember when I was younger, in about 2nd grade I watched the episode that begins with Chuckie having a dream and Tommy is in it and it ends with Tommy turning around with a really goofy yet creepy face and says "I'm not Tommy" and laughs menaiacly. I was so frightened when I first saw it and even had a dream that ended the same way with my own childhood best friend. I just want to know if anyone had a similar feeling or experience from that episode.

I haven't had a similar experience, but that is easily one of my all time favourites Rugrats episodes, really creepy and can see why it would give you nightmares.

reply

I don't remember enjoying Chuckie's dream either, when I was younger.

reply

It was kinda like a jump-scare for me the first time I saw it because I wasn't expecting it. When I had the dream I wasn't that scared, but actually thought it was cool that I had a similar dream

reply

It never bothered me. The whole confusing reality and dreams is terrifying when you're older, though.

Remember at the end when Chaz saw Stu from behind and the same thing happened when Stu turned around? Then the episode ended with Chaz waking up and screaming.

reply

Yes, I do recall that. I thought it was funny

reply

I remember being terrified as well. Then Are You Afraid of the Dark came on and only made things worse.

reply

Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Rugrats were my top two favorite shows at the time. I wish there was a channel that would show all the 90s Nickelodeon shows. I think that time was their highest ratings, and they even beat Disney Channel.

Not really. I actually thought that was hilarious.  I remember Chuckie's dad had a similar dream about Stu, and like Tommy, Stu turned around and said "I'm not Stu!" Haha, like father, like son.

"Arnold, my love, why must I worship you...and NEVER EVER tell?" 

That episode creeped me out when I saw it on tv about twenty years ago.
