Degrassi vs. Hillside

which show is far more superior in terms of longevity

I would say Degrassi. Degrassi was far more believable than Hillside. I only watched Hillside to laugh at it (which was enjoyable enough to make me never miss an episode).

There is NO comparison. I'm a huge fan of Degrassi and Fifteen. I even got heart for Degrassi: TNG.

Fifteen was fun, light and cheesy...Degrassi was educational and real

The problem with DTNG is it doesn't seem like a real school with real students, all the teens in DTNG are attractive, where in the original Degrassi series there were attractive and ugly teens...hence a real highschool.

I never saw the original degrassi,but I do watch Degrassi the Next Generation, and I like both but I have to lean towards chessey "Fifteen" as the better because on DTNG some of the characters are over the top,plus it has gone on too long. Yes "Fifteen" had some bad acting,and could of been better in storylines,and sets. I guess I'm just a fan of NICK shows during the 90's.

Hillside (aka Fifteen) was a Canadian show as well, it was originally shown on YTV and then they got the smart idea to move the production to Florida and lost a lot of their actors & actresses.
