I was, maybe, 13 when this show was on, and I distinctly remember it being awful; me and my ten year old sister couldn't stand it...and this from people who watched Hey, Dude religiously! It was so amateurish...and the acting might have been the worst in the history of television (no hyperbole).

I was 13 also when this show was on. It was either before or after welcome freshmen. My brother and I watched this show. I thought the 60s theme, you know the peace signs, they could do without. Other than that, it wasn't all that bad. It's better than the crap shown today.

shareSame here. I was about 6 when I got Nickelodeon and I couldn't stand this show because there was nothing fun about it. It seemed out of place on Nickelodeon. Maybe I would have liked it if I was 10 but I don't think so.

I liked the show, it was like a teen soap opera so it wasn't really supposed to be funny. But I actually thought it was. The acting was really bad, but there was something compelling to watch about it. Maybe because it was Canadian. When I think back I actually prefer this show to something like "Saved By the Bell" which I always thought was REALLY tacky.
shareAgreed...I was 13 also, and the acting, storylines, and cliched characters were embarrassing. It was such a fake representation of what high school kids talked like and their relationships and pseudo-dramas.
At least Ryan Reynolds emerged a star 15 years later!
I don't remember this show on NICK because when it went off, I was like 5 years old. I have the complete show on DVD, and I think the show is good/bad. I like it because the acting is so laughable. I watch it from time to time for a good laugh.
I rather watch this then any of the crap teen shows they have now. This show is far from being the worst show of all time.
One thing that I did like about it was that the actors actually looked like teens rather than 30 year olds playing teens
shareExactly, they weren't just playing awkward teens, THEY WERE AWKWARD TEENS!
Also, the awkwardness of them meeting up as teens to do this show, and then trying to act dramatically, shows in the acting. So a lot of that awkwardness is genuine.
