Earl (dad and the main character) is a Megalosaurus, Fran (his wife) is an Allosaurus, Robbie (the teen son) is a Hypsilophodon, Charlene (the teen daughter) is probably a Protoceratops, Baby (the baby) is a Ceratosaurus, Ethyl (Fran's mom) is an Edmontonia, Roy (Earl's coworker and best bud) is a T-Rex, B.P. (Earl's dick of a boss) is a Triceratops who looks like a Styracosaurus.
