Did anyone find it difficult to watch the Shredder smack Splinter in the face?

I love the movie but the scene where Shredder goes up to Splinter and smacks him in the face made me wince.

Yeah sort of but its not as bad knowing what happens at the end of the movie.

I thought seeing what happens to the Shredder at the end of the movie was hilarious, especially Casey Jones' reaction afterwards.

Never thought much of it as a child, but I appreciate it more as an adult the portrayal of Saki's violent cruelty.
