The Best Score ever

Morricone writes the best score ever in film history , so haunting and touching ( especially track " Hell's Kitchen " ).He should a win Oscar for music of " State of Grace " , no doubt about that.

OMG you must be kidding!

yes, Morricone is GREAT, BUT
I couldn't believe my ears while watching this really good flick,
the music was horrible. It seems Mr Morricone
said to himself: "Hey, why not trying to make a score just with
2 tones, up and down, and use this 2 minutes
for 10 parts in the movie?"

Life's a movie with a bad screenplay.

i think that this score is only the main-theme from "the untouchables"

hmmmm well, after downloading it and listening to it again
I have to say it's really kind of beautiful

I just watched the film and I so agree with you. The only thing wrong with this film was the score. It got in the way of the actors and the scenes constantly. This happened a lot with movie scores in the 1940s. And Morricone is great but really blew it in "State of Grace".

It's a brilliant score but hardley Ennio's best. His work in "Once Upon a Time in the West", "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, "Once Upon a Time in America", "Duck, You Sucker", "The Mission", "The Untouchables", "The Great Silence", "For a Few Dollars More", all are a bit better. But, you all have a great arguement. This is a brilliant score.
