-Boondock Saints (Not technically an Irish Gang or Mob movie, but still very Irish in nature; Characters, Music, etc.)

Excellent list, my friend! Spot on to your choices! I would add ' Veronica Guerin' to that asw ell, althought it's more about her determination to bring down the local irish mob. Still a good watch, in my opinio. Again, great list!

If you like those movies you will like, Emerald City which is coming out.

It's about the Westie's Irish mob from Hell's Kitchen, Jimmy Coonan and Mickey Featherstone.

It's extremely likely that that film will never see the light of the day. I'm baffled as to why it even has a page still here on IMDb; it's been in production hell for an eternity, whereas other films that don't come to fruition are scrapped much sooner.

But Jim Sheridan and the minds behind the concept unfortunately never got their $hit together, and it looks like they never will.
