For a movie about Hell's Kitchen..don't know Manhattan very well


Characters keep referencing how the sister moved "up town" and how they never get "above the 40s" when in fact Hells Kitchen is on the west side right next to midtown..like 48 to 54 street approximately..not a big deal...but she ain't exactly in the boondocks....or even Jersey..

Not a big deal..but they kind of make this point throughout the movie..

I think it might have been more of a symbolic gesture. By moving out of the Irish neighbourhood she was moving up the social ladder. Getting out of the dumps.

I live in Hell's Kitchen. Hell's Kitchen starts in the 30's from like 11th ave-8th, all the way up to around 56th street or so.
