Have rented the video from my college Library, along with many of Deniro's films that I havent watched before. Plan to watch it tomorrow.

I saw it alone when it came out. I was a kid. It was my little secret. It isn't a loud film. As I said on other threads it reminds me of such filmmakers as Truffaut or Di Sica in it's quiet sadness. It's simple sweetness.

De Niro is great in this one. Simple. Real. And with Jane Fonda, wow! Great acting. Superb.
