nice shot

It's directed and shot really well - excellent actually. You can tell it was made by a man of music videos. But... C Thomas Howell is a poor man's Patrick Dempsey (or Tom Cruise?) and Wiley is no Robert Downey Jr. The sex scene is really good, pretty realistic post-coital - moreso than most I've ever seen. Peter Hornton is compelling. The volleyball players are great - there is a lot of realism there. They do some of the best acting of the movie. Pretty cool that Rolo Vincent is actually a volleyball player, not an actor. CTH's speaking sections, however, are purely based in the movies. The sound also has something wrong with it too, there is some wet sharpness that comes through with a lot of the voices.

This was a great watch when I was a kid. As an adult, I can see and understand a lot more. It's still enjoyable and I would still watch it if it came on again.
