Can anyone tell me teh name of the actress who plays Nora's friend in the film?..shes the girl with the blonde hair and glasses.

She's played by Ellen Greene. I wonder how she got the part, since she was born in 1950, and hardly a teenager when the movie was made.

I say: That's nothing new. I think that the guy who plays Spike (James Marsters) on Buffy, The Vampire Slayer is about 40 or so, too. 30-40 year olds have been playing teenagers for decades.

It's funny really. I was watching "The Program" the other night on television and noticed that the guy who played Joe Kane (Craig Schaeffer) had a receding hairline and hair plugs that kept popping into the shot. He was supposed to be a senior in high school. LOL! =)

Holy crap! I just checked his bio (James Marsters). He's actually 43 years old!!! He was born in 1962. =)

La La Sloatman. I don't remember her being in any other films, but she did date Corey Haim for quite a while back in the late 80's/early 90's

her name is Lala Sloatman and she is a cousin to the Zappa children on their mother Gail's side. :) in the movie, her boyfriend is actually her real life cousin Ahmet Zappa. she had a few minutes of fame on the Pauly Shore TV shows on MTV around the same time. as far as i know she's still around the artsy music scene and stuff in LA with her Zappa cousins.

Several posters claimed it was Lala Sloatman, but to me it doesn't look like her. I think it's Holly Sampson, actress turned porn star.
