Predator is a very solid movie and they thought to follow such a great movie up with Predators in the inner city with Busey leading the attack? Can I get a collective WTF? This is hardly watchable and had to force myself to finish it.

Predator 2 is still a very good movie.
It's the same issue with 28 Days Later. The original film is near-perfect. So the sequel is overshadowed.
I watched it to once back in the day and I really didn't like it. Never watched it again. Although there's a chance that if I watch it again now I might appreciate it more because that does tend to happen quite a bit with movies. At least for me anyway.

shareI’ve always liked this movie. The city is a great setting for a Pred movie. And what do you mean “Busey leading the attack”? He was in the movie but Danny Glover was the hero.
shareDanny Glover was the hero in the movie, but Busey was leading the military attack against the predator. You do bring up another ridiculous point of the movie. I've generally liked Danny Glover in other movies, but he was miscast in Predator 2. Arnold Schwarzenegger barely beats the predator, but Danny Glover in a suit takes on several predator and beats them? I'm sticking with one of the worst sequels. Keith David or Wesley Snipes instead of Danny Glover and I'm more of a believer.
shareFirst of all, there is absolutely no scene in which Danny Glover takes on several Predators. That never happens AT ALL. There is one main Predator in the movie. At the end, we see a few come out to get the body and start the ship but there’s no fight.
Second, I’m not sure why you don’t like Busey as a military leader. It’s not the only movie he’s been in where he plays a military officer. Do you just not like the actor?
