Why is the movie R?

hmmmmmmmmmm?

reply

I could only find two scenes that persuaded the idiots at MPAA to make the movie rated R. the opening scene where michael keaton is having sex with beverly d'angelo because you nearly see naked. The other scene is the final confrontation between keaton and the couple in the house.

thank u someone for finally replying

reply

my pleasure, why did you think this movie should have been rated PG-13?

reply

no actually I was just bored and wanted to make a post on a random movie :-)

there's also at least 10 f-bombs during the course of the film...might have had something to do with it...

although i just saw "all the president's men" the other night (a PG rating) and there are at least 5 or 6 in that. never really understood that rule, how sometimes a PG-13 film with very little else objectionable was only allowed to have 1 (at the absolute most 2) f-word(s) and sometimes they showed up in a PG film...

Also there was a lot of graphic violence. Personally I don't think a 13 yr. shld. be exposed to that.

There's plenty of movies with violence on-screen that have a PG-13 rating. Ever see The Grudge?
