Yes. The reason "glib" is appropriate is that one of the symptoms is a very off-hand kind of irresponsibility for the bad effect one's actions has on others, and an ease in talking oneself out of trouble. I used to work doing psychological assessments of federal prisoners and he reminded me of some of them, although I never knew one that fiendishly clever and smart.
The popular term of "psychopath" however, was replaced clinically by the category "sociopath" and then "anti-social personality disorder" which is the current title for this disorder.
I dunno. He certainly fits the description of an as-hole.
