capt lapel?


Is it just me....or did Michael Biehn have the captain lapel markers in some of his uniforms? ie the two: || ....is lt. not: |

It is the insignia of Lt. in the Navy and Coast Guard. In the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps it is the insignia for Captain. Single gold bar in Navy is for an engsign, single silver is for a Lt.(jg), double bars mentioned above, gold leaf for Lt. Commander, Silver for Commander, Eagle for Captain, then stars for the admirals.

I didnt mean for that one. Im well aware of your navy's rank system....but when hes in some uniforms he has an army lapel pin similar to the one seen on this site: http://www.bucklesunlimited.com/images/pincapt.jpg

The Army/AF capt rank is designed slightly different than the Navy/Marine Corps LT/Capt rank.
